Zabbix Agent on OpenVMS

Zabbix is the ultimate enterprise-level software designed for real-time monitoring of millions of metrics collected from tens of thousands of servers, virtual machines and network devices.
Zabbix is Open Source and comes at no cost.
SysGroup has written an OpenVMS agent for Zabbix.
The following platforms are supported: VAX, Alpha, Itanium.
Some platforms, especially VAX, do not have all the items.
For the Zabbix server, the version recommended is 3.4.x
SysGroup has been developing for over 10 years a Zabbix environment (client) for OpenVMS
This environment includes:
An agent launched as a detached process
a DCL command zabbix_sender
a routine zabbix_send
contained in the
shareable zabbix_sender_shr32.exe
It is, therefore, possible to send Zabbix alarms from a DCL script or from an API in any program.
Examples:
$ zabbix_sender / key = key / value = 1 / host = hostn / change ● zabbix_send ('keya', '1')
